A Reteller
It is said, 'miracles are a retelling in small letters of the very same story which is written across the whole world in letters too large for some of us to see'. I believe so everytime I narrate a story to my son. I recall them for self motivation or when times are testing for a family member or friend who stands in need of words of inspiration and support.
In this blog, I am presenting various folktales and anecdotes with moral endings. These stories are entertaining on one hand, while on the other lateral they help in instilling moral values in kids. These rewritten tales have been drawn from ancient classics such as Panchatantra, Hitopadesha and Jataka to name few.
Why do we need these words of wisdoms and values ?
These lines by Frank Outlaw suffice the truth and need for values - 'Watch your thoughts; they become words. Watch your words; they become actions. Watch your actions, they become habits. Watch your habits; they become character. Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.'
