One day a huntsman went to a forest. The forest had a swamp where there was thick growth of vines.
The hunter saw a hind and started chasing her. The hind ran hither thither in vain and hid herself in the vines.
The vines were thick and overgrown. So the hind thought that she was perfectly hidden. She relaxed and merrily began nibbling the vine leaves. The leaves gradually crushed and vine around started thinning.
The hunter who had been watchful and suspected the hind to be hiding in the vines came around. He heard the hind's movements underneath the vines and targeted his arrow towards the hind. The target hit the hint and killed it. Before dying the hind said, 'The vines gave a place to hide from my enemy. I devoured them and invited my death. I am to be blamed for my misfortune'.
Moral: Do not harm your benefactors.
