One afternoon a thirsty ox came to a pond to drink water. The ox was very thirsty and he hasty splashed into the water.
A young frog who was merrily playing around the wet mud near the pond, was caught unaware. He was crushed under the ox's toes. When it was late in the evening, the mother frog got worried about the young frog. She asked his siblings what had happened of him.
The young frog's brother explained, ' Mother, this afternoon, a thirsty monster came to drink water from our pond. He was hasty and our brother got crushed under his giant toe'.
The mother frog, inflated herself and asked her young ones, 'Was he this big?'
The young frogs teamed up and replied, 'No mother, he was much bigger'.
So the mother frog puffed herself further and asked the frogs. But the young frogs said, 'No mother the monster was much bigger'.
The mother frog kept asking her young ones and kept attempting to grow in size by puffing herself, until she burst out due to extreme pressure and died.
Moral: We should understand and keep work in our limits. We should not try to do the impossible.
