Once there lived a swallow in a court of justice with her young ones. Every day, the mother swallow flew off her nest to find food for young ones.
One day, after the swallow left her nest for finding food, a snake crept inside her nest and ate her young ones. When the mother swallow returned and saw her young ones were missing she mourned. Seeing the feather around she understood that they have been attacks and killed by some enemy for its food. She was sorrow stricken and lamented.
A swallow who lived in a near by nest, came to the wailing mother swallow to console her and said, 'Friend, I lost my young ones too. I am equally unfortunate. But I am less distressed to loose my young ones as I might be a victim if I was there'.
Moral: One should be prepared to face difficult situations as it causes less distress.
