One day a hunter was returning home from the forest.
Passing by the long lane to the village he met the fisherman who lived in the same village. The fisherman carried a basket which was full of harvest. The hunter was tempted to see the fresh fish harvest. On the other hand, the fisherman desired to have the fresh stag meant which the hunter was carrying back to his home.
So the hunter offered the fisherman a part of stag flesh in exchange for the fish. They both relished the food at their homes.
Next day, the hunter and the fisherman met each other again. They expressed their delight over the previous day's exchange and continued exchanging for several days.
One day, the fisherman's wife said, 'You exchange fish for stag flesh everyday. Its been months you have been doing this. If you continue with this, soon the pleasure from this will we wane. I suggest you should make such exchanges less frequently'.
The hunter understood his wife's statement. He stopped exchanging the fish with the hunter less frequently.
Moral: Too much of everything is bad. In other words, abstain from obsession and excess use.
