In Flower Shower

This story is about Subhuti, a wise disciple of Buddha.

Subhuti had imbibed from his Master's preaching that true existence is nothing but void. Nothing exists except a relationship between subjectivity and objectivity.

One day, when Subhuti was sitting under a tree, flowers began to shower on him.

The Gods whispered to him, "We appreciate you for you discourse on void, the emptiness of human mind!" the gods whispered to him.

"But I have not spoken of emptiness," said Subhuti.

The pleased Gods replied, "You did not speak about emptiness. We did not heard the emptiness. This is the true emptiness. This is the real meaning of emptiness."

The blessing in face of blossoms showered on Subhuto who sat in  sublime emptiness.
