It was raining heavily. Two friends, Tanzan and Ekido walked the muddy road in heavy rain.
As they reached the curve of road, they saw a beautiful girl draped in silk kimono and sash. It was very muddy and the girl struggled to cross the intersection.
Tanzan immediately lifted her and carried her over the intersection.
Ekido was quite until they reached the temple lodging for stay. Reluctant and unhappy, Ekido said, "Tanzan you are aware of the code of conduct for monks. Monks should not near females. What you did was unethical. Let me ask you, why you lifted that lass?"
Tanzan replied plainly, "I left her there after helping her. It seems you are you still carrying her...in your mind!"
