One day went into the forest for a hunting venture. It was frosty cold and soon darkness fell upon. The man lost his way in the forest. It was terribly cold and there was darkness all around.
The man tried to find way, but was helpless. So prayed to Satyr, the Greek God of woodlands.
Satry appeared. He had divine aura with radiance emanating from all around him. The woods around were illuminated and the man rubbed his eyes and saw a bright figure.
Satyr said, 'I am Satyr, the God of these woods. Come with me and I shall provide you will lodging for the night. I shall guide your way out through the woods in the morning'.
The man thanked Satyr and followed him through the dark gloomy woods. As they walked, the man held his hands near his mouth and blew warm breadth on his freezed palms.
Seeing this Satyr asked him, 'O mortal! What is this that you are doing?'
The man said, 'O Satyr! I am trying to warm my hands. They are numb with cold'. Satyr nodded and they walked ahead towards Satyr's lodge.
When they arrived at the lodge, Satyr welcomed the man and seated him. He gave him warm soup and served him a dish of porridge. The porridge was very hot and when the man brought the spoon to his mouth, he blew upon it.
Satyr asked the man, 'Tell me why you blew upon the porridge?'
The man said, 'The porridge is too hot to eat. I blew breadth to cool it'.
Satyr was angry to hear the man. He shouted, ' 'Leave my house right away. I shall not serve someone who can blow both hot and cold in same breadth'.
The man went away in disgust.
Moral: Never hold on two sides. You will never benefit from anyone of them.
